The Fund Operator for the Active Citizen Fund (ACF) in Romania financed through EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 has been selected
The Financial Mechanism Office has selected, through an open tender procedure, the Fund Operator for the Civil Society Programme, financed through EEA Grants 2014-2021.
Th new Fund Operator is the Civil Society Development Foundation, as the leader of the consortium, with the Romanian Environmental Partnership Foundation, Resource Center for Roma Communities, PACT Foundation and Frivillighet Norge.
The programme has a total budget of 46.000.000 Euro and it will be managed directly by the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) as Programme Operator, according to the Memorandum of Understanding for the EEA Grants 2014-2021, signed between the donor states and Romania.
In the following period, FMO and the selected Fund Operator will proceed with the programme development process, which will include consultations with the civil society and other relevant entities in Romania.
