EFA launches call for proposals for a delegation of potential beneficiaries in Norway and Iceland
Environment Fund Administration, as Programme Operator for "Renewable Energy RO06" - RONDINE, announces the opening of the call for proposals for bilateral relations within the Fund for bilateral relations under the EEA Grants. Between 24 to 28 March 2014, potential beneficiaries of the programme will travel for an official visit to develop sustainable partnerships with partners from the Donor States (Norway and Iceland).
Applicants Guide and documentation required for submission of applications are published on the website www.rondine.ro.
RONDINE's potential beneficiaries who want to be part of the delegation that will travel to Donor States can submit applications electronically at email@example.com, starting March 4, 2014. Last day for submission of applications is March 10, 2014.
For hydropower component, eligible applicants are public or private commercial entities and for geothermal component eligible applicants are public or private commercial entities and/or local administrative units/authorities.
Between 11 to 14 March 2014, the Environment Fund Administration will review the applications submitted by the potential beneficiaries. The list of accepted applicants will be published on the programme dedicated website, www.rondine.ro.
The Environment Fund Administration has been designated Programme Operator on October 18, 2012, to promote the renewable energy use.
The programme has two components: hydropower and geothermal.
The hydropower component aims to achieve initial investment and refurbishment of hydropower plants, with the purpose of extending the production capacity of electricity from renewable sources. The geothermal component aims to achieve initial investments and reengineering of the thermal energy production plant that use geothermal energy, for the purpose of extending (increasing) the capacity for thermal energy production from renewable sources.
Environment Fund Administration
