Matchmaking event for partnership development - PA17/RO13
The Ministry of Culture in Romania, through the Project Management Unit within, as Programme Operator, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Romania and Arts Council Norway, organized on Thursday, November 28, in the "Mircea Eliade" Room of the National Library, a seminar aiming at identifying partners in the donor states in the frame of the Programme PA17/RO13 "Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage".
The event gathered more than 90 cultural operators from Romania, Norway and Iceland, who expressed their interest in finding partners for the development of cultural projects in partnership and, therefore, obtaining EEA Grants.
The seminar focused on thematic workshops for all cultural areas of the Programme, giving thus each operator the opportunity to share personal ideas related to the project and identify potential partners among the other participants.
The great number of cultural operators present, together with the variety of project ideas shared, revealed the high level of interest of the cultural operators in Romania for the development of projects in partnership, leading to a more substantial cultural dialogue and fostering the European identity through the understanding of cultural diversity.
The seminar is part of the bilateral actions for partnership development financed within the Fund for bilateral relations, which is part of the programme.
Within the Fund for bilateral relations, the first call for proposals is now equally open (Deadline – December 16). Measure A - Partnership development/building supports the search for potential partners in the Donor States prior to or during the preparation of a project application, as well as the development of such partnerships in order to submit cultural proposals for obtaining grants. The maximum financial assistance is € 1,500 per entity/organization.
We thank all cultural operators for their participation and wish them good luck in their partnership projects!
