The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly, announces the opening of the call within the Programme RO11 - "Promotion of gender mainstreaming and work life balance"

The Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly (MLFSPE), as Programme Operator for the Programme RO11 - "Promotion of gender mainstreaming and work life balance" announces the opening of the call for proposals for potential beneficiaries.

    During the 31st of March and the 2nd of June, the eligible applicants can submit their applications to the registration office at MLFSPE.

   The eligible applicants are:

a) local government authorities at the county level functioning on the basis of Law 215/2001 on local public administration, as amended.

b) local public administration authorities in municipalities and cities functioning on the basis of Law no 215/2001 on local public administration, as amended.


    The budget allocated to the call is 4.697.514 euro. The minimum amount that can be requested for implementing a project is 250.000 de Euro, and the maximum is 350.000 Euro.

 The grant rate is of 100% of the total eligible amount of the project.

Additional information

   The  Ministry Of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly has been appointed Programme Operator in the field of gender mainstreaming and work life balance, within the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 through the Government's Ordinance no 88/2012.   The programme has one component:  Promotion of gender mainstreaming and work life balance.

The objectives are:

- Improving the work life balance; through this program we aim to increase the number of education and care services for children aged 0-3 years and social services for children with disabilities 0-7 years. The scope of increasing the number of education and care services for children aged 0-3 years and social services for children with disabilities aged 0-7 years is to achieve an improved balance between work and family.

- Raising awareness on gender issues. The project will identify compact Roma communities and group meetings (workshops, seminars) will be organized with representatives of the Roma communities where information on the advantages and disadvantages of participation of women in professional and social life will be presented.
